Instructions for Parents

Print the series of clues, give to each child.  It is recommended that they solve the clue first before heading to next clue.  Each clue leads to the next, with the final clue leading to a special Easter surprise. This is a sample of 3 out of 12, so that you get the idea on difficulty.

  • Clue 1: “I’m usually white but I’m not snow, I’m sometimes covered in enamel but I’m not a tooth

                        I sometimes have a clawfoot but I’m not an eagle, I get filled with water but I’m not a sink

                       I have a plug but I don’t use electricity, I’m found in the bathroom but I’m not a toothbrush” Hippity hop, (Hint: Bathtub)

  • Clue 2: “I get filled with water but I’m not a drinking glass, I spin but I’m not a propeller

                        I clean things but I’m not a janitor, I’m a household appliance but I’m not a dishwasher

                        I have clothes put in me but I’m not a close” (Hint: Washing machine)

  • Clue 3: “I have at least four legs, I don’t have feelings or emotions

                        You need me in your house, It is where you go to eat!” (Hint: Dining room table)

Final Clue: “This starts off as a bean, Which then goes on to be ground

                     It spends some time brewing, In a cup or mug it’s found!” (Hint: Coffee)
