Have some fun now in preparation of Easter with these Brown Bag Bunnies.

Spirit of Giving

In the spirit of giving, making some brown (any color) bunny bags before Easter for family members, friends and neighbors is a great way to have some fun. Part of the fun of any holiday is preparing for the festivities. Showing love and care is the spirit of giving.

Follow these simple steps with some links for supplies. (https://amzn.to/3uW0Er0)

Since I used a brown paper bag, I will give the instructions using it. However, you can purchase any color paper bag for this craft.

Instructions

Step one. Take a lunch sized paper bag. Trace out two triangles (on side) and cut on the line. Best to make them the same size. This is for the ribbon.

Step two. Starting in the corner of the top of the bag, trace a bowed line for the ears leaving a straight area. (see picture) (this is the top of the head). Cut on the line.

Step three. If you want to have the kids draw faces or address the bag to someone, this is the time to do it. Use crayons, markers or cut and paste an image from your computer. Personally, I think making them by hand is better.

Step four. Fill each bag with goodies.

Step five. Cut enough ribbon (about 18”) to tie a bow around the bag.

You are DONE! Enjoy making these fun Brown Bunny Bags!
